We had the most amazing time. The Hotel was lovely. The staff very helpful and the restaurants really very good. The breakfast buffet was superb. Everything about the Hotel was excellent. The Hotel was good. Clean room, but spartan. The restaurants were good, and you have access to the Hotel Astoria ammenities next door. The location, however, was fantastic for walking the city. It's a casual 15 min walk to the Hermatage, 25 minute walk to the Summer Palace and 20 minutes to the Church on Spilled Blood. more

The location of the hotel is great but the interior of the hotel does not live up to the cost. This hotel was decent, but nothing special. Russia is more expensive for accomodation and food than other European cities, and this hotel could well have been a great option compared to other hotels in th city based on price. more
