I stayed in Swiss Inn KL for 4 days. My first impression was that this hotel looks horrible since it was under renovation and nothing was apparent from the outside. the receptionists were friendly but communication was very hard, they can barely understand english, we communicated using the signs language. The first problem I faced is holding my luggage to... more

I've stayed at the Swiss Inn several times over the last few years on KL stop-overs and always enjoyed my stay. Being right on Jalan Pataling, it is in the very middle of Chinatown. Rooms clean, breakfast fine, easily accessible by light rail (from nearby Pasar Seni), and the myriad of hawkers and restaurants literally at your doorstep make this... more

This is a budget hotel. So so... The bedsheets are not as clean as I would expect. The room has no windows at all. The toilet does not flush properly and choked with toilet paper. Only stay here if you're on a budget, otherwise don't consider.... more

We loved this hotel, it was in a amazing, happening location in the heart of chinatown, and close by public transportation, and cabs were cheap if you dont feel like battling the heat and walking too far.. The staff was really great and helpful, the hotel is big, we stayed in the deluxe room, and the beds were comfy, the... more

I was not impressed with this hotel. We had to literally get into our shower to be able to close the bathroom door and reach the toilet. There was only a shower, with just the smallest amount of lip around it, so the floor was immediately wet. It reminded me of being in a shower at a public campground. The... more

We stayed there for 2 nights in October 2007. The hotel is located in the middle of China town which has a great atmosphere. One side of the ground floor exits onto the night market which was good for wondering around looking for those 'authentic' bargains by night! We booked over the internet and there were no hassles checking in.... more

I am an older lady and my sister and I spent 5 nights and found most things really good. We spent our first night in a standard room through a hotel mix up it was not a room to recommend. When moved to a superior room as booked we were very comfortable. Breakfasts wonderful. Staff could not do enough for... more

I booked this place for 3 nights, to stay in Chinatown itself. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE! Access to the hotel is a task, the staff are the most unhelpful bunch ever. We flooded the shower and toliet, they did not give us new towels and the elevators nearly sliced our arms. Would definitely upgrade and spend... more

Stayed here from 14 Aug to 20 Aug(6 nights) and the stay for me is most memorable. Since I was single thus I had no problem moving around due to its location. Staff was nice. Hotel is clean and room are OK. the rooms with a window is always better in the hotel. more

Swiss Inn is a no-frills budget accommodation in the heart of China Town. We stayed there for three nights in Sep 2007. We had a deluxe room with a window onto the Petaling Street (night market). The room was clean although the furnishings were showing signs of wear and lack of maintenance. A buffet breakfast is included in the price... more
