Nice hotel lobby and layout in a very good location (near the nightmarket, Chinatown etc). The rooms need help though. They are older and the bathrooms are a disaster. Lots of ants crawling around the sink and plumbing is not always working (running toilets, cold water shower etc). Okay for a day or two but no more. Breakfast is an... more

Wonderful attention on arrival from staff. So nice to walk into an airconditioned building .Beautiful fresh flowers on display. Friendly thoughtful staff. Clean rooms, and a great outlook from bedroom window, especially at night. Transport organised to the front door by staff. Always a friendly smile and very respectful. Great location, lovely selection at breakfast. Nice place to stay. more

Got a normal room on the 8th floor. Luckily was blessed with a perfect view of Kuala Lumpur and the Petrona Towers. In the bathroom, there were a few extremely small roaches by the drain and the toilet wasn't complete spotless, but it wasn't so bad that I felt disgusted or dreaded entering the restroom Room was big, clean, and... more

A great option for those looking for a cenral location. Rooms clean and the staff were very helpful indeed. Great value for money and a wide selection available for breakfast. Recommended. Also ask concierge about tours, doing the maths it ended up being little difference between going on a tour to doing it ourselves, Plus the luxury of being picked... more

This hotel is right next to Chinatown, a walk away from Little India, Central Market, the monorail, and the train station. It was so convenient to everything we needed we loved it. It proved to be a great hotel.Great city views of the towers from our room. The breakfast was excellent, and the spa tratment was also excellent which included... more

I stayed for 1 night at Ancasa hotel, in a family suite on the 14th floor. For the price, it's really worth it if you share with 3 other friends. The suite is quite spacious and there is a living room, however there's no TV there. TV is only at the bedroom. The sofa in the living room doubles up... more

We had a very scary experience in another hotel in Chinatown so when we checked out of that place Ancasa seemed like the Four Seasons. The rooms were simple but nice and clean, they had nice bathrooms that were western style. The staff was very helpful. Overall it was a good value for what you paid for. more

Booked 2 nights in Nov 2007 based on 3 criteria: secure underground parking, central location and (relatively) low price. We were given a room on the 13th floor. Unfortunately, it faced Sentral Station rather than north...The room is relatively clean but obviously old. Thus, maybe it was 4 star in 1980, but not today. Regarding the location, it cuts both... more

Stayed here on a stopover for 2 nights, Good location for China Town and markets. Also close to overhead train station for very easy travel to Patronas district. It's not far away but don't be deceived by maps KL is not pedestrian friendly. Found hotel to be acceptably clean and loved the views from windows. Ate one evening meal in... more

An Casa is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at, there is no way it should have a 4 star rating. Upon arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded as it was a return visit from 2004, got in our roon and there were cockroaches everwhere, the safe and phone and the drainage system in the shower... more
