It was a great hotel to stay at. The front desk clerks were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it if your looking for a quiet nice hotel. more

Best Western Amarillo Inn is an old hotel about 1/2 mile off of I-40. They originally put us in the wrong type of room. We weren't going to bother changing because it was so late, but then it turned out the toilet in the room didn't work. We were then upgraded to a "suite" which had a kitchenette and separate... more

After reading other reviews, we decided to stay at the Best Western while driving through Amarillo. When we arrived there a storm was approaching and it was very cold. Our room just didn't want to warm up so we went to the front desk. Within minutes there was a service person at our door to fix the heat. Everything else... more

Hotel very good. Lovely swimming pool. Good complimentary breakfast. Felt the receptionist were a bit vague about the layout of the place and the area. Felt a map of Amarillo would have been useful for the guests. They didn't know each room had a guest folder & that it told you about tornado procedures. When asked about somewhere to eat... more

We recently stayed at this hotel on 7/27/07. It is a few blocks off the highway but it is worth it! It is a very quiet hotel with nice employees. Our room was very clean. I had a coffee pot in my room and that always makes me happy to get a cup of coffee while I am getting dressed... more

I stayed here 7 years ago, and the motel hasn't changed a bit. It is very clean and well maintained. It is on the west side of town, close to the hospitals and shopping. It is a few blocks off I-40 so you don't hear the traffic noise. I didn't eat their breakfast but they had "build your own" waffles... more

We have stayed at this hotel a few times in past years. Recently, they have done great at remodeling and adding the extras that we like. The rooms are clean and welcoming, as always. The room was quiet and cozy. We felt safe. They now had a free breakfast since the full service restaurant isn't there. The breakfast had biscuits... more

We stayed here during our move from Texas to Colorado. We were assured they had video surveilance and a guard that drove around each hour. Well, long story short, some theives stole our trailer between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on a sunday morning. The hotel was not sympathetic or helpful. The security guard was no where to be found.... more

I have noticed this comment several times but could not recall ever having a u-haul stolen from our property. I decided to do some investigating and discovered that no such incident ever occured at this Best Western. I spoke to long time employees as well as the owners. Finally I contacted our local police and there has never been a...

We came into Amarillo intending to drive through but we found that all the roads headed west were closed. We checked in to Best Western Amarillo Inn and we were pleasantly blown away by the awesome staff. They helped keep all of us posted with road conditions, entertainment close by, and they pointed us in the direction of two of... more

This hotel was ok, however, the hallways had no a/c so it was very hot. Also the room a/c took about 3 hours for the room to cool down. The only light in the bathroom was the heat lamp. The pool also looked dirty. We only stayed one night, but would probably not stay there again. more
