Stayed here on business travel, really like the location, really hated that I couldn't sleep. I could hear the people to my left snoring and the people to my right talking on the phone. Anything that was said in the hallway was also audible. The staff there was nice enough though the wireless connection was very weak in my room.... more

My husband and I travel quite a bit and always stay at very nice hotels. I have to say that this hotel had consistently excellent service--from the doormen, the managers, the concierge and the front desk. Everyone says hello and is all smiles--They are also extremely helpful. We came in from an evening out...it was about 2AM and we called... more

Loved the location, could walk to a lot of places, 6th street bars, capitol, childrens museum, bats. The staff was very nice. The building is half hotel & half business offices, but it didn't bother us. They give a kids pack full of goodies. We had a King room and there was plenty of extra space, even with the portable... more

Recently stayed here with my wife on a Saturday night... Apparently quite the party hotel - I was required to sign a contract stating that I wouldn't throw a party in my room and would reimburse the Omni if I did throw a party and they had to refund other guests...that was a first for me at a hotel like... more

Big hassle with my bill and accounting department. Some idiot was using the wrong expiration date to authorize my credit card. Three days after check-in, my friend treats me to a massage, pays at the front desk, and the hotel maxed-out her credit card later in the day. I should have been notified so that I could explain the difference... more

Stayed at the Omni June 16-18th, 2008. I have to say it was the best smelling hotel room ever. It had just been redone so that new furniture may have contributed to the fresh smell. The king bed was comfortable but the sheets were a bit starchy. The bathroom was nice and big. My biggest complaint about the room was... more

Buyer Beware.... This Omni has a "party policy" that you sign stating that you will pay for other guests hotel rooms if you disrupt their sleep. Seems fair enough ....but if you enter the hotel after 2 am, the management will then stalk you up to your room and then claim you disrubted someone's sleep and not only do you... more

The Omni was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do in Austin. We were able to obtain a very good rate on their web site as they offer several different packages. Although our initial room had an unfortunate leak in the bathroom, the manager quickly apologized and moved us up to the club level which offered evening wine and... more

Went on a business trip and stayed at this property. Rooms are not business friendly - few electrical outlets, really bad desk chair, few instructions for business facilities in hotel. Was taking a shower when dirty water from the shower above began pouring through the vent and onto my head. I reported it to the front desk and the clerk... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night. When we got there, we checked in before we parked in the self park garage. Check in was a breeze and the front desk was very friendly. She asked if I booked a corner room and I did. I asked her if we could take our car in and out of the... more
