ants in the bathroom..the complimentary coffee was nice though in the lobby, so too was my pic of the fire engine that answered the fire alarm..twice, the second time we were leaving the hotel we were bumping into others walking in, they had been told by the management that it was ok to saunter back in, i replied i think... more

The Iwo Jima is about what it holds itself out to be. For the DC area, it's cheap. It is near Arlington National Cemetery and the Iwo Jima Monument which is how I wound up there. Rooms are typical U.S. Best Western which is to say that something tells you that you wish you had flipflops 'cause the rugs feel... more

My boyfriend and I just came back from our DC Cherry Blossom trip. At first we were going to book the Best Western Capitol Skyline. However, the price went up right before we decided to book and luckily we found the one in Rosslyn. I've stayed at Best Western numerous times and even though none of them was "luxury", they... more

"Didn't get to sleep at all last night" Four Nights @ 139.00/night. Hotel Under Construction. Major High Rise (Steel Structure) construction less than 20 ft away. In Takeoff path for Regan National AP, right over head all night long. And the kicker, Diesel Bus parking right outside your door, ah the smell of disel engine exhaust first thing in the... more

I frequently travel to Rosslyn, VA for business and usually stay at one of the oricier hotels somewhat closer to the Metro. However, this trip was on short notice, my usual hotels were booked, and so I tried the Quality Inn Iwo Jima for the first time. While not as upscale as others in the area, I was pleasantly surprised... more

First let me start by saying that my husband travels alot, and we used hotel points for this stay. If we were paying (I'm not sure what the rate is) we might not have been as happy. Check in was no problem. The desk staff gave us several maps of Washington and the area. Part of the hotel was under... more

I arrived with my son who is 11, for a few days of sightseeing in DC. The first room they gave me, was in the old part of the complex(think old motels). The air conditioning didn't work at all and the TV was broken with no cable. I went to the desk and asked to change rooms to the newer... more

This hotel was clean ,friendly, good price . close to Metro stop and arlington . Used the super suttle back and forth from the airport good service. Not too many fast food places around went into an office building close by to get grilled chicken sandwich. The resturant next door is satisfactory for Breakfast and Pizza- this motel is older... more

We stayed here purely for convenience sake despite the poor comments on this site. However, we received a room in the newer portion and to be honest it was not at all bad. Staff were okay to us. Wireless connection worked perfectly. It was very useful being within walking distance of the Metro. The downside is the breakfast set-up. The... more

I was a "guest" at this hotel from 7/26 - 7/30/07, and please take note of the word guest in quotations! When I checked in I went to my room and first noticed an odor that I finally realized was moth balls. That was when I started looking around some. It became quite evident without too much investigating that at... more
