Stayed here after staying at the Manasarovar earlier in Tibet trip, and boy were we disappointed. We arrived late (8pm) and so we may have been given the worst rooms, but we had problems. There was only a trickle of hot water in the shower, and the shower was not waterproofed - water just drained out from below the shower... more

We stayed in this hotel in Shigatse for 2 nights in May 2005. It's a typical Chinese-run hotel; sterile, soul-less, but clean. The hot showers were extremely welcome.
