Spent three nights here on an excursion to Machu Picchu, and loved every minute of it. The location is great- across from the river, close to the bus stop for rides up to the site. Nice hotel by the river w/clean and updated facilities. Try to get a river view room. Food in the dinner buffet is not worth it. Service is splotchy and food is overpriced mediocre fare. Go up a block into town and eat there. Rooms are comfortable, but as others have noted, the bathroom is misbuilt. Be careful. more
