We had four nights at the Pearl and were delighted with every aspect. Our room had recently been decorated to a very colourful and high standard. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had hot water in the bathroom (a rare pleasure in India) and the electrics worked all the time (ditto). The staff were very helpful and... more

Firstly, this place is a good price even for India and considering the tourist nature of the whole area I'm glad to see that they haven't increased their prices like some do. The rooms are OK and reasonably clean but they seem to have a confusing array of room types and they managed to mess ours up so we ended... more

Regarding your booking with us, first of all you had an air cooled room booked with us, which I have checked in the booking register, the tariff for an air cooled room was Rs 550 in the month of March 08. You requested for an air conditioned room on arrival and the tariff for this room was Rs 800 in...

Due to the rave reviews of this hotel on this site we were looking forward to our stay here. Unfortunately we realised it might not live up to our expectations when on checking in, we were informed that we would be staying in one room the first night and have a change of room the second night as the first... more

First of all I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused .I and my staff are truly sorry about the whole matter, but there are a few points I would like to clear. According to the name mentioned in the review we have not been able to trace the guest or the exact date of his arrival in our check in...

Last hotel we stayed during a 2 week stay travelling in India and it was the best hotel we stayed in during the trip.. The staff were excellent, room was above average, the food was the best we had eaten anywhere. The dining area was gorgeous an oasis in the middle of Jaipur. Would recommend this hotel to anyone from... more

We stayed in the Pearl Palace for 2 days and I mean literally the whole time…as the bombings just happened and everywhere was closed. Luckily the hotel had a nice roof top restaurant that's very arty (spot the peacock sculpture too), internet and a cozy hall where you can borrow books or just hang around. Friendly staff and hotel room... more

I was concerned with the price of this hotel especially after paying $200.00 USD the night before in Agra. I also made another reservation at a 5 star hotel just in case. This is a great hotel with lots of local art etc. The food is especially good. Did not need to relocate as my wife and I really felt... more

The idea that this is the finest hotel in Jaipur is preposterous, until you factor in the price. We had one of the most expensive rooms for 3-days & ate all our breakfast there as well as most of our meals for a total bill of about $80. The rooms were clean, the decorating was funky & great & the... more

This was the nicest hotel experience we had in India and also one of the cheapest. The management were all polite and helpful, and the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. The only negative was a very long wait for hot water but there was hot water! and toilet paper! I will be taking a small group of friends back here -... more

Fantastic value for money, this small hotel really deserves it no.1 rating. I relied entirely on other TA reviews in selecting this hotel and I'm glad I did. The only downside was that the room decor was dated, but other than that I have only good things to say. The welcome received by all the staff and especially Mr Singh... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in March 2008. What a marvelous, clean, and friendly hotel. Very reasonably priced, and that includes the food at the marvelous rooftop restaurant. The ambience is great the staff very friendly and helpful. I could not imagine anyone going there without being totally happy with their stay. There is an information booklet... more
