My wife, my 4 y.o. son and I spent a week on a beach near Recife and then booked two nights at the Mercure to get to know the city before coming home. It was the worst hotel experience ever. And they charged the whole stay in advance, which to me is a sign that they know how bad the... more

Excellent choice from Accor Hotels. It`s close to the airport, but not close to downtown. If you plan to rent a car, that`s the best option. Large and modern apartments (there are flats for less than 50 dollars). Clean. Good service. If I go back to Recife, I`ll stay there again. more
