I was needing a place to stay at the last minute and was able to book a room at Sleep Inn on the Beach with just a week notice. I read the reviews and was a little apprehensive about staying here but was was greatly surprised. It was exactly what I needed. The room was clean and quiet, the view... more

Rooms were VERY small with the ceiling falling in and the baseboards coming loose from the wall. The shower was dirty, the ice machine didn't work, and the air conditioning didn't get very cool. All over the hotel, the wallpaper was peeling off and the carpet was DIRTY! DO NOT book at this hotel! more

Location is great, just don't get the rooms at the 1st floor, it is the worst hallway traffic you can imagine, and the swimming pool looks exactly into the lower floor balconies, literally feet away. There are no microwave ovens in the room, no fridge, no ironing board, no coffee maker and not enough towels and soap. You want any... more

When you walk in, the lobby smells like smoke. The lady checking us in was ok. We had 4 rooms booked for our party. Two of the rooms were supposed to have 4 nights and two had only 2 nights. All 4 rooms were nasty. One room had ketchup smeared all up and down the walls. One room smelled like... more

My friend booked this Hotel for us, we paid a bit more for the "Gulf View" room, but it was worth it! The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony had two chairs, but a little table would have been handy. We didn't make use of the pool, so I really can't comment on it, but it did appear to... more

This was the only hotel in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores that had a vacancy on the night we needed. We had stayed there a few years back, and although we hadn't been thrilled, it was adequate. We did not have a gulf front room, but we could see the beach from our balcony, and definitely enjoyed walking out the back door... more

We stayed at the Sleep in for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The hotel room with king bed was clean, but small. We had a view of the pool, the beach, and yes, the parking lot. The pool deck is large, clean and had many chairs. The pool is small but clean. The sand and ocean are just steps... more

The beach at this hotel is absolutely beautiful, and in mid-May was very quiet. Two comfy lounge chairs with umbrella can be rented for $5/hr. The hotel itself is average. We had an ocean view room with a deck, which was nice. The room was pretty small. The bathroom did not have a tub... shower only. The front desk was... more

I booked this hotel simply because it was too hard to find a room for only one night on the beach with a gulf view. I had stayed here about 10 years ago as well so I knew the location and all. I had a gulf front room, king bed, with balcony overlooking the beach. The room was probably nicer... more
