We stayed here 3 nights as part of an eco-tour. The rooms were what one would expect on this type tour, adequate, not fancy. The lodging was about a 5 minute walk uphill from the main lodge and dining room. Eco-lodge has beautiful views of the entire region, including Lake Arenal and Lake Cotter. The rooms are very comfortable with large windows overlooking a grassy plateau. The lodge itself is not close to Arenal Volcano, but is very relaxing with lots of well maintained trails and gardens through tropical forests. It is one of the most relaxing spots I have... more
