We can only feel compassionate for those who, like us, had their honeymoon dream turned into a nightmare. Upon our arrival, we were told that the magnificient open water bungalow we saved & paid so much for ...was given to someone else. Hiding behind some "computer malfunction" excuse, we were given the only room left : a bug-infested bungalow on... more

Booked for my honeymoon for only 4 nights and soooo wished we stayed longer. Beach burre, and I much preferred it to the overwater bungalows, the rooms were amazing, clean, spacious and you step out on to bright white sand to the crystal clear water (you need your sunglasses!!). The food was great, the staff were absolutely wonderful, tours were... more

My wife and I went to the Le Meridien for 6 nights on our honeymoon. The airport transfer was seamless. Just make sure you let them know what time to meet you. They greet you with a flower lei specific to their hotel. Then when you pull your bag off the shelf, a staff member takes it from you and... more

We stayed at Le Meridien Bora Bora for a week in June as part of our Honeymoon. I would highly reccommend this hotel. The staff were fantastic, they were all only too willing to help and were very friendly. I didn't encounter any language difficulties. The french influence really showed through in the restaurants where the meals were excellent. We... more

Don't listen to the complainers. Bora Bora is truly paradise. If you find an insect or a lizard in your hut, guess what- you are in a grass hut- it happens- toss it back outside!!! The people here are the friendliest I've ever met in my life and I've travelled lots! Air Tahiti NUI is the best airline I've ever... more

Le Meridien Bora Bora was fantastic and a real high quality experience. It felt very European and Polynesian all in one, and it wasn't pretentious in the least. The staff were responsive, polite, warm, and terrific as were the other attributes, like the food! Oh, my God, the food was amazing! And so beautifully served! It was like eating in... more

We chose the Meredien because neither of us had ever been there. It was our honeymoon and we wanted it to be all ours. The setting is spectacular and the resort is well laid out. We picked a "beach" bungalow (the man made inner lagoon) for price but decided it was more convenient and comfortable than the over water units... more

I stayed in LM Bora Bora in April 2007. Bora Bora (premium overwater bungalow) staying for 7 nights. My first impressions of the Le Meridien were incredible. The transfer process from the airport was seamless and the transfer staff was very friendly. When we arrived at the hotel (at check-in time), it turned out that our room was not yet... more

This was the final destination of our honeymoon and was to be the icing on the cake so to speak. Along our journey, we stayed at the Raddison in Tahiti and the Intercontinential in Moorea. Le Meridien BB was the most expensive of the three and we had opted to spare no expense and upgrade to the premium overwater bugalow... more

My husband and I went there for 5 days and it was great! The over the water hut was amazing and nicer than most hotel rooms. You can jump into the water from your patio! I recommend getting room service as you can sit on your patio and eat and not have to worry about waiting in the restaurant. Take... more
