We got married at Lalibela and with our guests had exclusive use of Marks Camp during our 3 day stay. Every aspect of our stay was superb. The organisation of our wedding was first rate and our day was truly magical. The staff could not have been more sincere or helpful and we were all very sad to leave. Nothing... more

We stayed in Lalibela Mark's camp in March of this year - we specifically chose it as it is child friendly and we were travelling with our young children. Our accommodation was adequate and clean- one large room with a divider between the kids beds and ours - we shared one bathroom. Just a couple of remarks- the rangers are... more

We had a two day stay at Lalibela at the end of our three week holiday in South Africa. It was superb - the attention to detail of the staff was perfect in every way. I would have hesitation in sending anyone there. Bill Simpson more

We spent two wonderful nights at Lalibela. We are met at reception where they parked our car and our cases were taken to Lentaba Lodge, one of the three lodges available. We were then entertained to drumming and singing and a buffet lunch that was just great. At 2 p.m. we were taken to Lentaba (about 25 minutes away from... more

We stayed in Lentaba, in Lalibela Game Reserve, and had a fantastic stay - dspite the weather! On arrival we were met and our car was taken and parked and our bags were brought to our room for us, while we got ready for our first game drive. The food is excellent, and the guide, Shelly, was brilliant at finding... more

We have just returned from a 2/52 stay in South Africa--mainly Cape town area. The highlight of our trip was a 2 night stay in Lalibela at Lentaba lodge---food and accommodation excellent--staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The guides were first class with Francois taking us to within feet of lions and elephants--man of steel!! Due to his professionalism and bush craft... more

What can we say just majical, stayed at treetops in the best tents ever, really appreciate the heated rooms and electric blankets after a game drive. Food excellent and more than plentiful. Pool area great with resident monkeys really made the rugby world cup final special even though we lost. Game drives memorable with knowledgeable guide but icing on the... more

In our stunning tour of The Cape, this was the jewel in the crown. We stayed at Treetops and were looked after by Lawrence and his staff. Our Ranger was Alistair. Both these guys deserve full praise for their efforts to make our stay as wonderful as it was. Our tented room was luxuriously appointed, immaculately cleaned and maintained and... more

Having never been on safari before and a little worried about things not stacking up against the more well-known 'Shamwari' competition, Lalibela game reserve was a five star treat towards the end of my stay in SA. For half the price of the competition, you get a very personal (and luxurious) introduction to safari - we stayed in Tree Tops... more
