The company I was visiting out me up in the Melrose Place on this trip, since I was travelling with my wife. When I was alone last year, they put me up in the Protea Wanderers hotel. The two lodgings are only a couple of blocks apart, but that's about the only similarity between the two lodgings. You really can... more

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights while in Joburg in Dec. 2006. The owner, Sue Truter, was very welcoming and friendly, and seems to run the place with great control.
