We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon en route to Cape Town. As the other reviewer mentions, they are adding new rooms so there's quite a bit of building work going on, but this wasn't a problem. Hip, relaxing and cleverly done. Our room was immaculate with a lovely outlook set amongst the hotel's garden. It's a great location and good value relative to other hotels in the area, such as Wanderers. The bistro food was very good too. There are some renovations underway at the back of the property but it did not impact us. more

I stayed here on a short business trip to Joburg in November 2007 and loved it. The rooms are well equipped for business - complimentary WiFi a must! and rare in SA.
