Les Cascades de Bantry Bay provides brilliant views of the ocean and has interesting features (such as the pool and the design of the hotel itself. It's situated in a pleasent enough area as well. Our room was small and had a good sized balcony, but it rained quite a lot on us so we didn't get much use out... more

My husband and I went to Cape Town after a week long safari in Botswana. We were a little nervous about the hotel due to the previous bad reviews we read on this website. I am not sure we stayed at the same hotel as those people. What a joke. Luc and Els are the kindest, most amazing hosts. Luc... more

My eight year old son and i have just reurned from our third trip to South Africa and our third stay at this fab boutique hotel. We were made to feel like old friends returning by everyone in the house. Luc and Els are indeed the most special people and the most genuine hosts as are all their staff including... more

we stayed for 3 nights at Les Cascades at the start of a honeymoon - it was a thoroughly delightful place. In contrast to previous viewpoints I would certainly suggest that an unpleasant stay must surely be the exception not the norm. We were at the top in a very luxurious suite; amazing views of the Atlantic - we arrived... more

We had a couple of weeks stay here and this was our fourth visit to date and the last. The service (especially at breakfast) was a shambles at times. The staff wanted to push evening meals too hard. On the one occasion that we dined in, the meal was pleasant enough but the service was slow and drawn out and... more

I have quite mixed feelings about Les Cascades. I wanted to like it but we had such a bad experience on the first night that it coloured my view of the rest of our stay. We stayed for just 2 nights at the end of our holiday and were booked into the Villa. We arrived on Sunday around 6pm and... more

My boyfriend and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here during our 10 day trip to Cape Town. I read reviews about the place and was a little skeptical about booking because of some of the negative reviews I had read. We could not have had a better experience. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are so helpful and... more

We had a lovely room with superb view at Les Cascades de Bantry Bay. Ones condition should be in good condition looking at the amount of steps you have to climb. As in the previous reviews, we didn't have any problems at all with the owners. They were friendly (though not overfriendly, he was a bit "stiff") and all was... more

Very Boutique Accomodations! The staff, especially Willie, was great and the food was delightful. If you are challenged, physically, in anyway this isn't the place to stay--lots of steps. We stayed for 4 nights and have to say it was the best dinner we had in Cape Town. The staff was attentive to our needs and answered all our questions.... more

We stayed at Cascades for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon. We arrived late at night after a long journey and the first thing we were told is that we were being upgraded to the main house, which was the perfect way to start our honeymoon. The room was fantastic, the bathroom huge with a bath for 2, a... more
