We stayed here when we arrived in cape town and it was a good place for two tired people to put their feet up. The room was very nice, clean, a good size and well equipped. The service was if not a little slow but still attentive and the location is very good if you want to walk around town.... more

Am in Cape Town at least three times on business a month. Thought I would give the Mandela Rhodes a try. I am so glad I did! The staff were all friendly (not the usual false smiles one comes to expect!). I was shown to my room and couldn’t believe it, just as it appeared on the website. Beautifully done,... more

We have just returned from 10 nights at Mandela Rhodes Place. This "hotel" has a convenient location in the centre of Cape Town with good parking. Unfortunately it was not finished and the on-going building work began early in the morning creating noise and dust. I have just returned from Cape Town having stayed at Mandela Rhodes Place for 11 days while on business. Bar one major reservation, I would recommend this place heartily.
