I was there for a conference and was upgraded to a room on the golf course. The grounds are amazing, walked the golf course and it seemed nice, food at conference and restaurants was very good, staff exceptionally helpful but still felt something was missing. The furniture, bedding, etc. was fine but the bathrooms should be gutted and brought up... more

I think tthe Wigwam is worth visiting for a relaxing, laid-back vacation , especially if you can get a good rate and plan to golf. However, anyone paying top resort prices at peak season will probably be disappointed, especially those seeking the feeling of a glitzy, hip resort in the middle of a lot of action. The Wigwam is charming... more

We stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. I chose this spot purely because of the Jim McLean golf school which was the purpose of our trip ..for my husband's birthday. The resort exceeded our expectations and after seeing other resorts around Phoenix, we realized how fortunate we were that I had chosen this resort. Being from... more

I took my family to the Wigwam resort for spring break, my wife and I are both teachers. We booked the resort with Starpoints ,being Starwood Preferred Gold members. We even paid the premium for a suite. When we arrived in the room, my wife was horrified with the condition of the room. For the cost we could have stayed... more

Nice resort, but nothing too exceptional. I was expecting a WOW for the money we spent. My husband is a golfer and he enjoyed the courses. My kids loved the pool. We were there during school vacation week. Not enough staff poolside and certainly not enough chairs and umbrellas. Room was very clean and the front desk staff was awesome.... more

I stayed at this resort during a business conference. While it was very nice for the most part, at over $300 per night it was not worth the amount paid. I would never stay here if I was paying for it. Nonetheless, I'll provide an thorough breakdown of my experience at this resort. Accommodations: The resort itself is well maintained... more

I stayed at the Wigwam Resort during the Super Bowl weekend. I was there to work the event. I didn't really get to enjoy the resort as much as I wanted to, but the staff was excellent!! From the front desk, to the bellmen, the staff on the grounds. I was turned around my first morning there and one of... more

This resort, with all of it's history, was very modern in so many ways. From the check-in to the check-out, we were treated like gold. We visited over Thanksgiving so there were many "groups" and families, but my sister and I were still very comfortable. The bars and restaruarnts were pretty high priced, but food-wise, we felt we got our... more

My husband and I stayed here during the holidays, had booked a deluxe suite for 259.00..It was very spacious but really needs a lot of improvement. First off there was this smell (Room 255)..it seemed very strong, my husband said it smelled kind of musty like an old building, I thought it smelled like a dog or cat had been... more

We stayed at this resort over Christmas while seeing family in nearby area. Our primary reason for selecting this hotel was because they are dog friendly which is paramount for us. Their rates were very reasonable for the season and there was no fee for our pet. We could have stayed at a 2 star "hotel" closer to our family... more
