My husband and I just came back from BA and we loved our stay at Malabia House. Our bathroom was across the hall and it was small but it was fine. The staff and the laid back atmosphere made up for it. The rooms themselves have very high ceilings and are quite lovely, the common areas are so welcoming. The... more
the staff bent over backwards to help us with side trips (football, ferry to Uraguay) and reservations to restaurants. the accomodations are not the best. our private bathroom was down the hall and not attached to our room. the hotel is pretty loud when folks are chatting while walking up and down the halls. breakfast was so-so. i would still... more
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days. We had the room with the bath across the hall, which was fine. The best thing about the Malabia house is the super professional and experienced staff. The house is full of magic and the breakfast was incredibly. Located in Palermo Viejo, with lot of bars, restaurants and boutiques right around... more
I have to agree with some of the other comments on this site. Staff are wonderful, Lisi exceptional but the rooms are terrible. Think college dorm. We stayed at Malabia House last month and it was a fantastic choice for our last days in Argentina!! The hotel is cozy, it is an ancient building in the middle of trendy Palermo Soho. The rooms are nice, the bathrooms are way too small but it's just fine for a couple of days. Definitely the real value of the... more
This place exceeded our expectations!! The efficiency of the staff is recommendable and the sincere, warm attitude of everyone will bring us back again for sure! more
I am perplexed to read very few comments below on the fact that none of the rooms in this hotel have windows! I don't know about you, but waking up in a pitch black room and having no access to fresh air can be a bit uncomfortable when you travel. This is my main issue with this hotel. The location... more
For our last three nights in Argentina we decided to spend a little extra money (actually hard to do in Argentina) and stay at this small boutique hotel. It proved to be money very well spent. The staff was amazing. We were greeted with some Mate tea which we tried for the first time. Before going out to dinner we... more
To start, my husband and I booked our three night stay at the Malabia House on the day we ended up there! We didn't love the hotel (shall remain unnamed since they were kind enough to let us out without penalty) we had planned to stay in, so we called Malabia after hearing good things about it and also knowing... more
