Excellent option if you are looking for a small, luxury and glamorous hotel. The location is great. I spend a time searching for hotels in the famous Recoleta area and I found this Meliá Boutique Chain hotel for a nice price comparing with other traditional options. I love jazz and they surprised with a show in their Jazz Voyeur Club,... more

I spend 4 nights at this hotel with my wife. They have a delicious breakfast with a piano player that creates a sophisticated atmosphere. The decoration is classic with Louis XV fornitures and they really take care of every detail. The service is excellent, They made to feel us like home. A really Boutique Hotel. more

My wife and I just stayed 3 fabulous nights in the Melia Recoleta hotel. Truely outstanding hotel in every way - service, amenities, location, everything. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a quality hotel. more

Stayed here as part of a business/pleasure trip for a week in late Jan 07. I was quite impressed with the standard of the hotel, although I was surprised when I saw the rack rate prices how expensive it was (I was part of a bulk booking which was cheaper). Strongest plus point is probably location - it's in Recoleta,... more

Great Hotel! We had a great week at the Sol Melia Recoleta. It is in a great location; on a quiet side street in the heart of Recoleta. The rooms are very well appointed. They are done with reproduction antiques. The bathrooms are brand new, modern style and nice (no tubs in the rooms). The staff is great and generally... more

We spent the last 3 nights of a 4 weeks trip at this hotel and found it to be a perfect choice. Not only Recoleta is the best location in B.A. but Posadas is one of the best street in Recoleta district. Few minutes away from Patio Bullrich and some others find shopping. The hotel is decorated with taste and... more

We stayed here in Dec 06 in the middle of a 3 and a half week trip around Argentina. We chose this hotel because of its location in Recoleta and the fact that it is new and a smaller hotel which we prefer. The hotel has an impressive lobby and 2 towers rising up at either end of the lobby... more

Stayed in this hotel 3 times while were travelling up and down Argentina. Each time we came back the staff were welcoming and gave us friendly, personal service. We left luggage there while we were flying north and south - no problems at all. Great location, close to good restaurants and sights. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lovely boutique feel... more

We (family of 6 in 3 rooms) stayed at this Melia for 1 night in December on the way to Sao Paolo. Location is good for day time touring and shopping. Not so for nighttime walks, diner or people watching. It seems that this area of BA in on a downturn. Gentlemen's club just around the corner. Check-in could definitely... more

Coming from a critical old queen (lower case), this hidden gem could be FABULOUS. There are some small flaws in the service, but Melia recoleta can be half the price of the Big Luxury Hotels and is better in some ways. The pitfalls first: No pool. Just an outdoor dunking tub. Really, really friendly staff, but not so efficient. We... more
