What can I say that hasn't been said before by the previous 150 [!] rave reviews the Secret Garden has gotten? Well having the insider's point of view as I am also in the tourism business myself, I know how hard it is to keep everybody happy [and get so many great reviews] , so we booked a room at... more

It is nearly five months since we stayed at The Secret Garden but it is still very memorable. It is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. John is the perfect host. Pre-dinner drinks are a great idea, a chance not only to get to know John but to meet the other guests and share your experiences of... more

There won’t be much I can say about John and Secret Garden that hasn’t already been said. This place is an absolute treasure. John takes extremely good care of all his guests and I understand why everyone raves about this place. The rooms are quite large, clean and comfortable. His ‘happy hour’ every evening is a fantastic way to unwind... more

Secret Garden – Iguazu, Argentina In the middle of Iguazu town, Secret Garden is a three-room sanctuary nestled in bush. This was a magical find. The rooms are spacious and decorated very nicely. There is no TV, but this made for a very relaxing stay. The rooms were extremely clean. The only small irritation we had was the shower, which... more

Stayed here last year but have finally gotten round to writing a review. The Secret Garden is a lovely little place to stay when visiting the area for the water falls – because let’s be honest there is not a huge lot else to do. This is true of the area around the B&B because it is very quiet but... more

This is a gem of a place. There are only 3 rooms so you need to book way in advance. John Fernandes makes you feel so welcome and he is also like your travel agent while here. He serves you brechetta and drinks from 7:30 to 9 pm every evening . Breakfast consist of homemade bread and jams with juice,... more

We stayed at the Secret Garden this past March and were so happy we did! John and his staff were amazing! Jaime, our driver arranged by John was very friendly and prompt. The room was immaculate and very comfortable; my best sleep during our 2 weeks in Argentina! Breakfast was lovely. I think John should export his homemade jams! Yes,... more

The experience at Secret Garden was wonderful. From the start, John (the owner of the inn) arrived at the airport to pick us up. Secondly, our rooms were great and the personalized attention he gave us in Iguazu was great. We were escorted to a hotel where we could spend the afternoon at the pool after he made arrangements. We... more

The Secret Garden is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and set within a beautiful tropical garden. The Inn is located a 5 minute walk away from the main centre of Puerto Iguazu and a 2 minute walk to the end of the road to get the public bus to the Argentinian side of the... more

Secret Garden owner, John Fernandes, is extremely professional, warm, and accommodating. After our original hotel plans were cancelled for unknown reasons, he helped us secure a room for three nights even though this was a most busy time, Easter week. The rooms are so clean and comfortable and the grounds very lush and tropical. An evening get together of guests... more
