We had been to Samoa in 2005 and stayed at Aggie Greys Resort which was very new at the time. It was lovely but didn't compare to the Sinalei Resort. We stayed at Sinalei for a week in late November 2007. After flight delays out of Sydney (we were supposed to arrive at 00:35, but did not arrive in Apia until nearly 5am local time). We stayed at Sinalei for one week, we are used to good 5 star Resorts, this was not what we expected, food well over poriced, staff poorly trained and very lazy, friendly people but always an issue to get things done! We had one of the Beach Side rooms so I can't speak for the other rooms but our room was great. Nice deck out to the beach with hammock. Comfortable bed and a good Mosquito net.
