I've stayed at the Tanugamanono Tatiana's for extended periods of time on 2 separate occasions. I actually stayed in the same private room in 2004 and 2008. The rooms are comfortable, have a private bath, refrigerator, television and are clean and serviced. There are three locations of Tatiana Motel to stay in Apia. We stayed at Tatiana Motel Tanugamanono for 3 weeks in August 2008. Stayed at Tatiana for only one night and would not recommend this hotel. Although the exterior images on the website are indicative of the hotel, it hasn't been maintained in a long time and it no longer actually looks as clean as represented. Ummm this place needs TENDER LOVE & CARE. Stayed at TATIANA MOTEL 20 MAY 2007. Reception service was alright. Requested a unit with ensuite/air cond. Towels needs to be upgraded. Tea/coffee/sugar was little. Bed linen definitely needs to be upgrade didn't appreciate bloodspots on sheets/pillowcases. Bedspread wasn't nice, nothing like the advertised picture. I did like the purple dolphin shower... more

I stayed in this motel while on a group trip to Samoa. I was extremely disappointed; it was basically a hostel with shared cold showers, poor ventilation, barren rooms (absolutely NOWHERE to store clothes--no shelves, hooks, or furniture besides the twin beds) and a slight bug problem.
