Overall, this was a nice hotel. We checked in late and the hotel was 100% full. As a result, we received a room in which the air conditioning didn't work. The hotel said they were unaware of the problem prior to our arrival and would fix it. They forgot to fix it. They did fix it on our second day... more

We stayed for a quickly planned 4 day weekend and were thrilled with this place. Our party consisted of one mom (author of this review) a teenage son, and a second grade daughter. There are lots of great resorts in Phoenix. I was staying here for business and found the accomodations acceptable, but nothing special. Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs is built into the foothills in North Phoenix. It is right next to the Phoenix North Mountain Preserve so it is a wonderful location for hikers.
