I believe this is my first stay at a Courtyard. The property was nice enough, but I was expecting a free breakfast which was not offered. The expectation on my part may have been wrong, but if Hampton Inns offer breakfast, I would think Courtyard's could. In any event, my real problem with the property was the excessively loud room... more

Stayed as part of a tour and found the hotel to be very clean and very friendly. Staff excellent and the pool very refreshing after a day on the tour bus. It was a nice touch to be offered free cookies, soft drinks and coffee. This may not mean much to americans, but coming from the UK where you pay... more

My friend and I were lucky enough to get tickets to the Super Bowl this year so we decided to stay in Scottsdale instead of Glendale where the game was. There is so much to do right by this particular hotel that you really dont need a car, great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff was really cool... more

The hotel is nice but not great and is deffinately not worth 200 or 300 dollars/ night. The lobby is nice and also has a bar and restaurant. There is an outdoor pool and wokout area. The rooms are slightly larger than a standard hotel room and offer and couch and chair. The bathroom and decor is outdated. I guess... more

This is a very basic no frills wholesale type hotel. I saw a lot of groups that must have gotten a package price. The website showed rooms in the $200 per night range. I paid $100 and wouldnt pay a penny more. There is a doubletree down the street I stayed at that was much nicer for the same money. more

My husband and I booked 2 nights on the Labor Day Weekend. The hotel website was advertising a 79.00 special with free breakfast. The hotel room was very nice and spacious and very clean. The bed was wonderful, very comfortable. It felt like a Temperpedic foam bed. The only reason I gave it an Above Average rating instead of Excellent... more

My buddy and I stayed at the Marriot for 4 days during the Barrett-Jackson classic car auction. Although it rained all the time, the hotel was extremely clean and very quiet. We stayed there Thursday thru Sunday. The room was clean every day. The bathroom was spotless and the beds comfortable. A previous complaint about traffic noise is unjustified, in... more

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Scottsdale Old Town for 7 nights late April 06. The hotel was very nice, room furnishing were lovely, large rooms, friendly staff. However; I reserved a room about the 2nd floor with a patio but was given a room on the 1st floor that opened up to the main, loud, 6 lane road,... more

We had a great AAA rate of $55 for each of our two nights... very quiet and within walking distance of many Scottsdale attractions. The breakfast was very good as well! We'd definately stay here again if we could get anywhere near the rate we got this time! Loved the lemon flavored ice water in the lobby. more

The room was fine. Clean, comfortable bed. However ours was on the front of the building, literally 20 feet from a 6 lane thoroughfare. The noise was horrible. You could identify every song in passing cars. Another example of Marriott seemingly always giving rewards members their worst rooms. Marriott claims this property is walking distance from Old Town. This is... more
