From the moment we stepped into the room we knew we made a good choice by choosing the Desert Quail Inn. We were so pleased with the accomodations, the room was large with a sofa, table/chairs, desk, refrigerator with fruit in it plus coffee maker with different packets of tea and cocoa besides the coffee packet. Iron/ironing board & hair... more

The beds were rock hard. There was supposed to be a fruit breakfast in the fridge, but it consisted of 2 wizened oranges! The bathroom was so tiny that you couldn't close the door while sitting on the toilet. There was no exhaust in the bathroom. Small single cup coffee maker with watered down coffee. Air conditioner didn't work well.... more

Expect a room like a room in a regular motel such as super 8 or motel 6. Rooms/restrooms were clean. Bed sheet were old. But at least clean. Ok place to stay. more

It is right in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon. Beautiful surroundings with Bell Rock and many others. Front desk clerk was very friendly and informed us the pool was open but a little cold because snow passed through there a few days before. The pool was nice but she was right it was cold. She also assisted us with... more

This hotel had no internet in the rooms. I hadn't run into that for a couple of years, so didn't even bother to check. They had a computer in the office or you could use dialup to your isp - who does that anymore? Other than that the place was okay, but wanting to check out things to do in... more

I travel to Arizona a great deal for my work and usually stay in high-end hotels and resorts in Phoenix. Check out my reviews and you'll see that some of them are pretty bad. I was therefore very pleased with the Desert Quail in Sedona, where I spent three mid-winter nights while visiting friends and taking photographs of the glorious... more

This is a 2 diamond property for good reason. The staff is the best part ~~~ very nice. If you're looking for a place that has a lot to offer then this is NOT the place. The pool is nice but that is all there is to offer. I would not reccomment this motel if you're looking to visit Sedona... more

Let me preface this review by saying that the Desert Quail is a 2 star hotel. If you are looking for a 4 star experience do not stay here. As long as you keep this in mind, I don't think you will be disappointed in what they have to offer. I would equate the Desert Quail to an older Hampton... more

We just got back from a Easter holiday vacation and stayed at the Desert Quail Inn. The staff was friendly and the rooms are clean and decorated nicely. Our only complaint was the construction work on the road. We expected feel the vortex and energy vibes, but didn't..perhaps the construction ruined it. more

During our recent trip to Sedona, Grand Canyon and Las Vegas we stayed in many hotels. The Desert Quail Inn, while affordable for the Sedona area, wasn't quite what was described. Upon check-in we were told we were going into one of the newly renovated rooms. When we entered the room, we tried to hard to determine what had been... more
