At first glance we thought this was a great place until we tried to sleep. The bed was somewhat broken, the air conditioner was way too loud to keep on and sleep, the very hard, wooden chairs were not made for "comfort". It was very clean except for the cricket we had to escort out the door. We were not... more

We had booked a room at King's Ransom for several reasons: - Value ($130/deluxe room) - Location (appeared to be on main strip when mapped out, and close to hiking trails) - Pool - Room Quality - Website showed rooms had updated bedding and fixtures, along with whirpool tub, View of Mountains, etc. Upon arrival, we found that the location... more

I was traveling by myself to Sedona, and felt very safe here. I had a nice first-floor room looking out onto the courtyard, and could see Sedona's red rocks over the top of the building. The courtyard was beautiful, with a nice assortment of flowers and a sparkling pool. The covered hot tub was a nice touch, too.' The bathroom... more

The overall stay was ok, but i didn't like the beds. They are advertised as a pillow top, but they have to be at least 20 years old because there is only about 1 inch of foam on the top. The room was quite big, but the furniture was very sparse for such a big room. And, you better bring... more

Booked this hotel because it was under $150 and would take pets. Should have paid a little more and stayed somewhere that had a working frig or had an AC that would go below 77. Their restaurant Elote has a bizarre menu, I dont mind ecletic but they did not even have a green salad (of any kind) on the... more

After reading the reviews here, my wife decided on King's Ransom for a family stay. It did NOT disappoint! The property is clean as a pen and has a lush interior courtyard and heated pool/spa. From it's exterior, you wouldn't think much about the hotel, but this interior oasis is a true pleasure. The morning breakfast is included and is... more

Stayed at Kings Ransom in early April 2008 with my wife and 2-year old son. Reminded me of what Arizona might have been like in the 1960s but with the modern conveniences. The room was larger than normal but not big. The fit and finish of the room was average and totally comfortable. We like to stay in first class... more

Booked the suite and this was great for a family. Very comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom with spa bath which was a real treat after a day's sightseeing. The pool was lovely, there's a great mexican restaurant next door (the restaurant was closed as it was Sunday) and the location was convenient for travel. Breakfast was included and plentiful so can't... more

The hotel is divided into two sections, the courtyard which is centered around the pool (with no AC in those rooms) and the Trailhead rooms where my husband and I stayed for one night. Room was decently large with a king bed and queen pull out sofabed. nice jacuzzi tub which we didn't take advantage of. the Bath and Body... more
