This hotel was terrible! Among other problems, owners arguing with each other at check in, we were secretly charged 100 for "smells" in the room that others had complained about before us. We had the charge disputed sucessfully and removed, but it left a bad taste and we will choose another hotel on our next stay. more

A friend in our group booked rooms for an overnight stay. I wanted to go on the site to check out where the resort was located so that I could make a reservation w/in walking distance. I was definitley concerned after reading some of the review's. After a wonderful experience, I realized people usually only take the time to right... more

I read reviews of the Cedars Resort and knew to have realistic expectations but was still quite disappointed with the accomodations. Reviewers who were lucky enough to be placed on the eastern end of the property raved about the beautiful balcony views and those who stayed on the western side warned of the traffic noise and less-than-stellar views. Unfortunately, I... more

I must say it was great for the price. Although we were on a street side room, it was clean. There was one staff member, a check-in person, who was not the nicest actually really rude but what is good customer service anymore? I read another persons review on this hotel that said they had robes, we didn't have that... more

I admit - I allowed my signiticant other to book the hotel and got a little nervous when I read the tripadvisor reviews. Having stayed there, I can now say that I think some people may see "resort" and expect they're getting a bargain rate for one of the luxury resorts in Sedona — I think of these as the... more

Get what you pay for here. Small room with decent bed, plastic cups, 1/4 of the rooms face hwy. Staff a little surly, more motel mgrs than innkeepers. Making sure they do their job, and will interact with you if needed. more

Small hotel right on the "Y" in Sedona. Right in the middle of town walking distance to many great places and an easy drive everywhere else. Parking is sufficient and convenient, room is clean, warm, spacious and has a nice balcony. From my balcony (queen bed, lower rate) I could mostly see the back parking lot and second building, but... more

What a great place to stay in Sedona. Right up town. Close to everything. Great views from the balcony and only the sound of Oak Creek below your feet.. I'll be back. more

The reception was not "customer friendly" to begin with. The rooms are hardly resort classification. The rooms are very small and the traffic noise is very bad.I spent two nights at the Grand Canyon Best Western for less money prior to Sedona and there is no comparison. $89/night versus the $99 at Cedars. Now...as for the breakfast!!!! ...It is a... more

Room was not large, but adequate. Very clean; nice balcony which overlooked the red rocks and Oak Creek; you could walk down the stairs and walk along the creek. Nice pool; nice heated spa. Continental breakfast included danish, bagels, etc. Great Italian restaurant, the Hideaway, just down the street, very reasonably priced, excellent pizza. Had an accoustical guitar player, outside... more
