We stayed here for one night in May, our last hotel of a 24 day trip before flying back home. We stay at Country Inns fairly frequently because they're generally fairly new and well maintained. This franchisee-owned property is the worst Country Inn we've stayed at. It's quite dated and doesn't have interior corridors---the rooms open up to an ugly... more

Our one night stay was awful. There were so many furnishings in the room that we we could barely get around. Also the room had a strange odor. Thank goodness that we were only staying one night. more

My fiance and I came to Tempe for the Ironman competition. Last year we had stayed at the Country Inn & Suites Tempe Airport and really enjoyed our stay. That's where we thought we were booking this year but somehow got confused and booked this one. We booked a one bedroom executive suite with a full kitchen. Sounds nice, but... more

The "Deluxe Suite" was awful. When the hideabed was pulled down you couldn't get out of the room or switch the AC without crawling over it. The AC was in the living area, and cooled it too much, without any cooling of the bedroom area. The breakfast was untidy with overflowing garbage and not even a bag of tea. We... more

Went to Phoenix to watch my son play college baseball. Originally it was my father and I. We then had two unexpected guests decide they were going. The hotel accomodated the two guests with no problems giving us a room with two queens for two nights. The next three nights they had to sleep on roll aways. We were not... more

When we first arrived, there was a big party going on by the pool, but we were able to get a room on the opposite side of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but very small. Pros: location (I-10 was right there!) Low price ample parking Fridge and microwave Cons: noisy one night room keys kept having to... more

I should have known that when the outside of the building is this dirty, the inside isn't going to be any better. The building itself was dirty. The hallways were dirty.. There was nothing wrong that a good spring cleaning / a new housekeeping staff couldn't fix. Until it is cleaned up I am going to stay away!! more

I recently completed a four night stay at the Country Inn & Suites in Tempe, Arizona. I would like to provide some feedback from my stay to help you for a potential future visit. 1. The hotel itself was very nice. I was satisfied with the room, the pool/whirlpool, and the prompt service to clean the room. 2. Areas of... more

Just returned from a five night stay at this hotel. The full size refrigerator, stove, sink and microwave were appealing. However, the stove was filthy, there were no cooking utensils and attempts to get just ONE skillet from the hotel staff failed after repeated requests. Another filthy item was the fold-out sleeper sofa, which had large and numerous stains on... more

We just arrived back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. The only thing I can say that is positive is that it was clean. However, the rooms are VERY small. The bathroom is so narrow that only one person at a time can be in there. When you get out of the shower, the bathroom door must be... more
