We have stayed at the Buttes once a year for the past 4 years. This year's visit will likely be our last. We paid additional to have a 'mountain view' room, as we realized from past stays that the other view is of the freeway and can be loud. 'Mountain view' turned out to be pool view. Day and night... more

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buttes. The rooms were clean and newly remodeled with a southwestern flair. The entire resort was nestled into the side of a butte and breathtaking. (If you chose a room on the resort side of the hotel, there is no noise issue.) Since it was a weekend, a small band... more

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My children really like the water slide. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Everyone we had contact with was very friendly and polite, including employees and other guests. more

We stayed at the Buttes on the last night of our trip, before returning to the UK. I was expecting heavy traffic, owing to previous reports, and we did have a room overlooking the freeway. However, the air conditioning drowned out any noise of traffic and we thought the hotel was delightful. Everyone was very friendly and keen to oblige.... more

This was the third stop on our road trip. It was by far the BEST place we stayed. The dinning on the roof was amazing. The food was excellent, the staff wonderful. The pool was great. We arrived and had chocolate strawberries in our room and a bottle of cider. They brought us cookies and milk before bed. We stayed... more

We stopped for one night at this resort, on our way from Ca to Tx. We were very impressed, from the moment that we pulled onto the property. The entire staff was amazing, everyone helpful, friendly and with a smile. The vallet offered us bottled water (and informed us that it was 109 degrees), then showed us across the property to our... more

My family just returned from a week in Sedona and spent one night at The Buttes before flying out of PHX. The Buttes is a very nice property. Service was exceptionally good. The pools are very very nice - my son spent almost 8 hours in the water. It is very convenient to the airport - about 10 minutes. The... more

I only stayed one night at the Buttes on business. The rooms were nice enough, but not as nice as a regular Marriott hotel, as I had just stayed in one the night before and could easily compare. The hotel rooms at the Buttes have been updated with new beds and bedding (maybe decor - not sure), but other than... more

Although we live in town, this is the first time we stayed at the Buttes. There was a special rate being offered in the summer (110 degree days will tend to drive away tourists) so we took advantage of it. Everything was well-maintained and everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. Although we didn't know this beforehand, there... more
