We stayed at the Grand Canyon Hotel for 2 nights in early May. The hotel itself is very unique and charming, and the owners just add to the uniqueness. We stayed in the "Romance" room -- double bed, claw foot tub, and cute little touches. The room was a bit small, but we didn't spend much time in it, so... more

My husband and I stayed at Grand Canyon Hotel for a couple of nights on May 10 and 11 and had a very enjoyable time at the hotel, and in Williams, which is a jumpin' little town. The hotel is apparently the oldest in Arizona, opening in 1890. The owners are younger people - probably thirtysomethings, I'd guess - and... more

Although there was a slight hiccup with our previously booked room when we arrived late in the evening (we should have phoned ahead to confirm our booking) which meant we had the last room available which didnt have any en-suite facilities we only have fond memories of this great hotel in a great example of small town america on the... more

We planned a trip to Grand Canyon on slightly short notice so none of the hotels in or near the Grand Canyon were available. We decided to stay in Williams which was about an hour drive to there. Grand Canyon Hotel was perfect for us. It is quaint yet quirky: a long-time hotel recently renovated by its current owners. All... more

I wound up in town after visiting the Grand Canyon. I like to look for a Hotel that gives a good taste of the local town. As I was walking down Rt 66 Looking for a place to stay I saw the Grand Canyon Hotel and inquired about a room. I found out that it is the oldest hotel in... more

We loved this place. It may not be for the person looking for the usual boring motel. It has a lot of charactor, Beautifully restored to it's original late 1800's roots. It was immaculate, and the owners were very helpful. We took the Amtrak and Oscar met us at the train (5 miles out of town). It comes in late... more

What an amazing find. We had travelled to Williams coming from the Grand Canyon, and had trawled around a bit looking at the general chain hotels looking for somewhere to stay, and they were all a bit expensive. Drove past this one, nearly didn't stop as didn't look much from the outside, but SO glad we went in. This is... more

My wife and I stopped 26-27th. I booked based on the reviews from Tripadvisor. They got it spot on. What a fab find. We drove from Vegas to the hotel and were told 'go find a room to suit' and off we went around the hotel checking each one out. You don't get choice like that very often. We chose... more

Arizona's oldest hotel. Each room is uniquely decorated. The floors aren't level but the building is almost 120 years old. Give them a break! This just adds to the quaintness and ambience. The owner's couldn't be more friendly or helpful. They have done a great job of restoring one of Arizona's real treasures. For those who need modern conveniences there's... more

We loved this hotel. Amy was so friendly both on the phone when we booked and when we met her. The hotel doesn't have the best facilities, but it was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks in the States, by miles. If you don't mind not having a king sized bed then this is the place... more
