I stayed here for one night as part of a tour of Greece. The hotel is clean and the rooms are reasonably sized and the food is nice. The pool was clean - but it would have been better without the drunken US teenagers! The hotel is not central and travellers wishing to go into the town would need a... more

This was the best of the 3 Amalia hotels we were forced to stay in during our Greek tour. The staff here were friendly and had an understanding of what customer service meant. The rooms were the usual basic Amalia room which I have said previously are not 4 star. The hotel does have a nice pool area. Bar area... more

Spacious lobby with plenty of sitting areas. Hotel often full with bus tours. Despite all the tours, there always seems to be available rooms. Large pool area. Clean. Internet service. Rooms were sparce but comfortable. Nice decks to sit on and read a book. Nice bathrooms. Very close to monestaries which are a MUST SEE. GREAT pizzairia in town called... more

My husband and I were surprised how large the Amalia Hotel outside of Kalambaka was. The lobby is huge and there is a beautiful pool area and two very lovely pubs. Our room was clean and pretty nice with a big bathroom and had a patio door that opened onto a green area. If you travel around Greece, you'll find... more

This is one of the best hotels in the Amalia chain. It is very modern, clean, and friendly. The service was good, although in our experience we did not interact too much with them (which, is good because nothing went wrong!). The breakfast and dinner buffets, like all the Amalia hotels, are large and of decent quality. This one especially-... more

stayed there for one night on the 31st od dec. Located outside the city, in need of a car to get to town but if you have one it is not more than 5 min. Large lobby, large rooms with the most simple decoration ever, not a fridge in the room, nice breakfast buffet... that's all... ok for the price... more

This was the fourth Amalia hotel we stayed in (husband and two sons [11 & 15]). As with the other Amalia hotels (excluding the Delphi Amalia), this hotel was located quite a ways outside of town. In this case, if traveling from Delphi, you will run into the Amalia Meteora on your way into town. This hotel was by far... more

The room we had at this hotel was comfortable with a nice view out to the garden through sliding doors. The negative aspects of this hotel were the staff, who were decidely unhelpful and unpleasant and the food, which was like boarding school food. The latter was served with the same finesse as one sees in films of hash houses.... more
