The Metropole is resting on it's location and great views. I paid £186 for a bogstandard double room whose decor was on the tired side. The staff in the bar seemed bewildered to be there and the bar closed at 11 with no way of getting a drink. Wouldn't recommend it. more

We had a fantastic stay in Padstow this year. That was apart from the weather which obviously cant be helped!! Nothing like the brouchure, my room needed a complete re-furb!! The bath room was horrid and very old with cracked floor tiles etc. For breakfast I went for the bacon and beans, the bacon was like cardboard which I had to leave due to the worry about loosing any teeth!! and as for the beans there was a thick skin... more
