Had a great time at this little place. I guess the name is a lie, as its not actually on the beach, but its only a few minutes walk down the road. This is a warm & lovely place. It's set around a small pool and well kept garden filled with bougainvilles & hammocks. We found this to be a pleasant and cosy hotel/guesthouse just 5 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms were very clean and spacious, the whole site had a rustic South American 'feel' to it which provided a nice, relaxing ambience with hammocks and cosy chairs for lounging. My husband and I stayed here for a week in February after being on the mainland for a week. What a charming little hotel. It was much better than expected. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, had a nice balcony with a view of the ocean, even though the hotel is not beachfront. They served a wonderful buffet breakfast daily... more

Lacrose, VA FebMar,2007 What an oasis this little charming hotel turned out to be. Clean, quiet, great location, with helpful, multilingual, eager to please personnel. Forty plus rooms, just the right amount to handle efficiently. We had a wonderful and peaceful 10 day vacation. more
