Absolutely the only thing going for this hotel is location. This hotel is old, unmaintained, and overpriced. (our hotel room door would not lock from the outside, the screen door would not slide, etc) There are two restaurants only one of which is open every day. The buffet food is average at best. Good location, walking distance from the entrance to Petra. Ask for a room with a view of the mountains (not the car park!). The location is good, but the hotel is rather tired. Don't rely on much help from the front desk . This maybe partly because the set up is really geared for large groups who arrive on a regular basis and take over the restaurants. We had lunch at the Movenpick which seemed much nicer. more

We stayed for two nights. Hotel is walking distance from the entrance to Petra. Rooms were lovely with beautiful views of the Petra mountains. Restaurants were a bit of a dissappointment.
