I only stayed here 1 night so that I could go to Petra the next day... but I was glad it was only 1 night to be honest, especially compared to the great place I stayed in Amman. The rooms were really dated. The bathroom had chipped tiles and looked really average. The restaurant was also average - I only... more

Hello I stayed here for two nights on May 2008. Splendid hotel, with very comfortable and quiet bed rooms . Pleasant restaurant . Beautiful swimming pool .Friendly staff. But the best of everything is the amazing, wonderful panorama in front of the hotel . From your bed you can appreciate the "rifts " and mounts facing the hotel . The... more

We had a day pass while visiting Petra before we had to go to the airport that night. The staff was very friendly when we arrived, and the room was cleaned in half an hour. The bar was empty but we were able to get a nice cold beer in short order. Later, the drinks were reasonable and good price.... more

Rated this a #2, but really was a #2-minus. Rooms need paint. Walls are scarred, chipped. Restaurant was a big negative. Food average or below; breakfast a huge disappointment. Felt fortunate we could find bread and cheese to eat. Best thing hotel has to offer is the view from the window in the room. The travel agent said this is... more

We stayed 1 night only at the panorama hotel, cause we were there to hit the Petra site the day after. The place is really nice with the special view from the room. We feel that we were on the moon! And we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The food for the dinner (buffet) was ok. During the evening, there is... more

We were 2 couples staying there for a single night, half board. The hotel location is uphill quite far from "downtown" area. For us this wasn't an issue as we were quite tired after a long active day but if you plan doing a night tour take into accout a taxi for both directions (too far for walking). The hotel... more

After 24 hours of air and land travel from the west coast of the USA, this hotel was a welcome site for sore eyes. The room was above average I would say, but what steals your attention is the view from the room, lobby, and restaurants. Perched on a hillside, stepping downwards, you can see parts of Petra, Aaron's tomb,... more

Maybe this review won't be allowed, because I can't conclusively prove that the Petra Panaroma was the source of my food poisoning - and I would, genuinely, not like falsely to accuse anyone. But I have a nagging suspicion that the dirt in the pool, lobby, bedroom, bathroom, restaurant and hallways may also have been present in the kitchens. I've... more

People in this hotel are not fair. It's bad because because the point of view is nice but people are so unfriendly. They made us pay something we didn't ask, they hide us a message of our guide. more
