Bhopal is a friendly and interesting city worth visiting for its excellent museums and atmospheric market along with the two World Heritage sites nearby and the Jehan Numa is one of Indias' better city hotels. There is a wide choice of rooms & suites: we liked the "imperial" rooms with direct access to the great pool. Everything is clean and... more

Nice hotel, super food. I stayed here on a business trip to Bhopal recently in a regular room. The Hotel has a very old style. The service is excellent. The food is especially good. Try the Nihari Mutton, I loved it and wished I could stay another day just to have it again. Breakfast was a buffet and included in... more

Note: I am a c5 tetraplegic with c6/c7 functionality. I use a manual wheelchair. My reviews are made from this perspective. Jeehan Numa is an excellent hotel for the non-cripple. Disabled access is adequate… although inadequate for a solo traveller. There is ramping throughout although many are impossible for any wheelchair to scale without assistance. Electric chair users should probably... more

great place......nice rooms, great breakfast, good resturants, good service but disappointing bathrooms. They are not dirty or anything but they are basic and not luxurious. I guess I am a wee bit spoilt. But overall a great place with a lot of history at a great price!!!! more

The Jehan Numa is a late 19th century royal palace converted into a private 98-room hotel still under the ownership of the former ruling local dynasty. There is a new building where many of the rooms are located which was not part of the original palace. I was upgraded to the Bourbon Suite so my experience deals with that room.... more

A well located hotel. Stayed in the standard room and found it to be very small and tacky. The imperial rooms were better but significantly costlier. The restaurents are excellent. However, if you are looking for a palace experience, this hotel is definitely not it. The Noor us Sabah is a palace hotel with a view though the same may... more

We only stayed one night in transit. The standard room was just that : a little small, but 4* facilities. The luxury rooms look really great : private decks, loungers etc. The hotel has lovely extensive grounds, gym, pool etc. We (foolishly in retrospect) had an indifferent indian meal in the "Kuchina" (which claims to be international , but is... more

I m just back to my office at Mumbai after a pilgrimage to Sanchi, 45 kms from Bhopal. i stayed at Jehan Numa Palace, Bhopal which is really a superb place. I was surprised to see a hotel of this kind in a smaller city like Bhopal. Though they have few restautants serving different cuisines i choose La Kuchina for... more

Having an evening out at the open air barbecue, was just outstanding! Food, drinks, & atmosphere were all perfect. No trip to Bhopal is complete without having the murg malai tikkas under the mango tree. more

The whole ambience is just too good. A trip to Bhopal can't be complete without a few drinks here. more
