Went for a couple night getaway. It was great- nice rooms, beautifully appointed. Fantastic bathrooms, terrific concierge service and a very handy driving service available to take you around town so you don't have to deal with parking and drinking and driving if you want to go out for dinner and have a few cocktails! Although a short stay, it... more

Peninsula is most certainly a top-notch, five star hotel - they make an effort to make you comfortable and the service level is exceptionally high. Given that the lowest rate for a standard room starts at USD 550 this is however expected, but nevertheless from the moment you step into the reception until checking out they always make an effort... more

We seem to have settled into a routine now for one of our annual holidays: fly to LA, five days at the Peninsula and then drive down to Palm Springs for ten days of sun and relaxation. This year travel was complicated by the need to be in Delhi for one of us immediately before the holiday, so we arrived... more

Having heard about the many accolades and songs of praise of this hotel I decided to book here for 3 nights. I was ultimately disappointed with this hotel though I can see the potential of this hotel. Many small issues compounded to make for a frustrating stay which suggests larger systems breakdowns behind the scenes. However, the hotel also has... more

This was our second visit (myself and my husband) and it was fabulous!!! So much personal service and attention to every detail. We even had a brand new (the temporary plates were still on) LEXUS at our disposal, which was complimentary!! Breakfast was included with our stay (not completely - a partial credit) and the food was great!!! I highly recommend... more

We first stayed at this hotel in April of 2007 when we took our 12 year old here for spring break. I did not think that anything could exceed the great time we had until we stayed again at the hotel in April of this year. First, the service is impeccable. When you drive up you are immediately whisked into... more

My husband was in meetings all day so I decided to get pampered in the beautiful spa, I was escorted into the womans locker room which was very nice. My facialist Luba then came to get me and we discussed my skin before the facial. Let me say that it was more of a product sales pitch than a facial.... more

We had a great stay in December. We had booked a superior room, but upon check-in, our room was not ready so we were upgraded to a deluxe room on the ground floor which had a small patio. A nice little perk as we took our breakfast there in the morning. The hotel itself seemed very intimate and cozy. We... more

We stayed at the Peninsula for a month while I had hip surgery. The staff and service were fantastic. We had room service every day for breakfast and it always arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the afternoon tea - we have had afternoon tea at the best hotels in London and Toronto and the Peninsula... more

What a fabulous hotel. I have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Rancho Valencia, Hotel Parisi, Hotel Del, and Four Seasons Aviara in the San Diego/LA area. This hotel definitely ranks near the top of these other 5 star properties. We stayed in a Grand Deluxe Suite with a connecting room. What a fabulous room! Hardwood floors, balcony, full kitchen,... more
