The location of the Cobblestone relative to Ocean Ave. is great. Everything is in walking distance. We had the only king suite, which is directly on busy Junipero Av. Unfortunately, this made for a noisy room with traffic starting before dawn. If you're an early riser, this won't bother you. We're not. The heater kicking off several time an hour... more

We found the Cobblestone Inn a delightful place to spend three nights. It is walking distance to downtown Carmel and the beach, has a tasty breakfast with eggs done in a variety of ways, and has rooms that are comfortable, if somewhat small. The only negative i can think of is that parking for most guests is on the street,... more

We had an excellent stay here. Too bad we could only stay for one night. Check-in person was friendly and recommended several places to eat. The room (#22) was in the back of the property on the second floor. It was not very large, but pleasant. There was a table and chairs, a queen bed (excellent linens), a fireplace (which... more

We stayed only one night (Sunday) after attending Tomatofest. We got a great deal for our room and were pleased with how clean, quaint and charming the room and property were. Everyone was very friendly, as well. The breakfast was nice with an egg dish, fresh fruit, oatmeal and pastries. What more could you ask for? And the coffee was... more

we were there with our three grown up children (16,18,21) and everyone was very happy with the rooms (had three, every room with a queen-size bed) and the breakfast. we would always go there again. more

Before we stayed here, my wife and I read a few nitpicking reviews of this Inn that made us laugh (i.e. complaints about the free wine and having to park a whole block from the Inn). By the way, we thought the wine was pretty good and parked right outside. Maybe because of these reviews our expectations were not high,... more

We just celebrated our 20th anniversary here and it was fabulous, as usual. This is our 4th time staying here in the past 10 years. After I read some recent bad reviews on here (and that they are no longer owned by the Four Sisters Inn) I was a little worried. But it's the same romantic place that it's always... more

I am shocked to see the horrible review that was posted in July but this was my second stay there IN ROOM1 and it was as charming as it was the first time I was there. This is a birthday tradition that my best friend and I have and will continue to stay @ the Cobblestone. I LOVE THIS PLACE... more

This guest called after checking out to complain. Had they brought up their concerns during their stay, the Inn could have made an attempt to rectify the problem. The guest did not inform us that they were upset during their stay, or at check-out. When the guest called, some days after check-out, they were compensated accordingly. We thought that the...

My wife and I stayed at the Cobblestone May 15, 2008, and were terribly disappointed with the condition of the room. We were in room 22, and the 2 chairs were both broken, the iron did not work, the wallpaper was peeling and the paint was scratched and needed to be redone. The carpet was stained and had a "sticky"... more

The Cobblestone Inn changed ownership on April 1st, 2008. The new ownership is working hard on upgrading the service, amenities and condition of the Inn. This guest was given an apology and a considerable discount, off of an already discounted rate, at check-out.
