Santa Barbara was great but this was our WORST hotel of 5 hotels during 3 weeks in southern California - and we paid $425 a night for a 'suite' which was the 2nd most expensive in the hotel! This 'Inn' is definitely a motel...nice location, but our room (overlooking the parking lot and lovely large dumpster) made my skin crawl. I used Clorox wipes on everything but we were left with a dingy room, lumpy bed, filthy carpet, and noise. A functional hotel - nothing special - in need of investment. Staff not particularly friendly. Only expensive valet parking (when you could park for free on road around the corner...).
