I bid through Priceline and ended up with this Embassy Suites. I was pleased, as it was in easy walking distance to my place of business. I phoned the hotel from the courtesy phones near the baggage claim at SNA and the shuttle picked me up within 10 minutes. The room was nice -- a relatively new microwave and refrigerator,... more

We stayed at the Embassy for two nights in May for an extended weekend. The hotel is a standard business hotel in the middle of a business area. If you have a car you will have to use it. There is only one restraunt within walking distance and it was quite pricey. We were on an extended weekend family trip... more

I thought the room was great, although the pillows were really foamy, not feathery. The suite setup is large. Decor not so great, but what avg. hotel decor is? The breakfast was great, the happy hour was great, you can walk to McCormick and Schmicks across the street. It is the OC, land of office parks and chain restaurants, after all!... more

I stayed here the weekend of Feb. 1st while on business at Alliant University. I thought the hotel was just fine (your regular Embassy Suites), but it is going through remodeling right now. I was warned of this on the hotel website. The lobby area and atrium were undergoing re-construction, and the pool and exercise room were closed (this too... more

I only stayed here because my company has a contract with them and I couldn't find anywhere else. First, it's an Embassy Suites, so don't expect much. But I was disappointed in three things. One, install some lamps. The hotel depends on natural light to light the lobby and hallways. Only problem is because it's surrounded by buildings, if the... more

I really could care less about most hotels as long as the Internet works so I can access my job at night. In Irvine, Orange County California I had no Internet service. After numerous calls to technical support and after trying the Hotel's Bridge (A Wireless Antenna) they came to the conclusion it was the room and not my $4,000... more

We booked this hotel for just one night before a friend’s wedding the next morning in Tustin. We got it on Priceline for ~$60. Our room was on the 9th floor, very quiet and nice. The shuttle driver was very nice and gave us VIP cards from the front desk to get free desserts at Il Fornaio. Breakfast had a... more

Made reservations and reconfirmed directly with the hotel. All staff was pleasant but not talented when it comes to reservations. A good enough place for a night. Pros: Close to John Wayne Rooms as expected for an airport hotel Usual space, mostly clean, the usual happy hour, etc Cons: Reservationists are not the greatest they forget requests No bathroom fans... more

Needed a place to stay for late flight into SNA, leaving early next morning. Priceline accepted $50 bid ($63 with taxes). Phoned prior to stay to confirm airport shuttle hours and request king room. Upon phoning for shuttle from airport was told it wasn't running do to "unforseen circumstances" despite being 30 minutes prior to end of hours. Asked for... more

Booked for a weekend getaway for my kids. Pool VERY small, weekends are times when families of teams competing in the area stay at the hotel, so extremely noisy. Room itself was quiet, but once you open the door all you hear is kids. Kids are running around all over the hotel screaming. Going up and down in the elevator... more
