Have stayed at this hotel three time in the last two months. It is an excellent facility in almost every respect. But, parking is $15/day with no off site alternative and in-hotel prices are NYC level i.e. $8 for a draft domestic beer. Internet is additional having replaced the telephone as a necessity offered as a costly option. If Hampton... more

The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We went to the pull at about 10 pm and there were no towels. We waited nearly 45 minutes for staff to show up. No one did so we gave up and walked back to our room wet. My wife complained to the front desk and they... more

I used to really like this Hyatt, but over the years other hotel brands have surpassed this Hyatt.Yeah it has a nice pool and resturant but ,it also has a parking fee, charge for internet and places like the Courtyard and Residence Inn's room are just as nice as these rooms now. It's not a good value and won't be unless they upgrade... more

We drove from the Bay Area to San Diego and stopped here using hotwire. It was one of the best values I've ever gotten on a hotel. Right off the highway without the highway noise. The hotel was clean and quiet. The bay and restaurant areas was really nice and had lovely outdoor seating. The pool was nice and hours... more

Rooms clean. Nice outdoor area/pool. Easy access off of the 405. Accommodating and friendly staff. Go to Boudin Bakery on Main for lunch or to take home some bread. more

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine for 4 days for business travel. I found the hotel to be "acceptable" but there were several things that made it less than stellar for me. The first negative for me was on one day the fire alarms went off 2 times in the morning because of maintenance men painting on or... more

As a frequent business traveler, I stay in a lot of four and five star hotels. This hotel was recommended to me by virtue of its location. Based on my experience, I would only recommend it to someone else with the caveat that they be prepared to feel ‘nickeled and dimed’. I stayed in guest room # 260 and found... more

A nice 4-star hotel at a good price on Hotwire, but once you add the valet parking, the WiFi fee, the tips and the breakfast, it is pretty expensive. The carpet in our room needed a good shampoo. And the maid over-used the smelly chemical that is supposed to make the room smell fresh. more

First off, I've used priceline several times to book 4 star hotels and usually I have a great experience. This was the worst one. I didn't really believe the other reviews when they said they treated you worse if you go through priceline but this is the first time I experienced it first hand! Even though I checked in fairly... more

We loved out stay at the Hyatt and would definitely stay there. There is so much to do at this hotel that to me it is a resort. We played basketball, tennis, used the free bikes and rode down the beautiful Newport Beach trail. which is just a few short blocks from the hotel. The gym was superior for a... more
