We stayed at Holiday Inn Los Angeles near the airport on June 20-22nd. The room was small, but clean. The bedding was nice and there was free Internet access even though it was really slow. I've stayed at Holiday Inns all over the United States, and it's always been a pleasant experience, with this one exception. This place is a dump. Although it's centrally located, it's immediate neighborhood is ugly and probably dangerous, too. Guests include riff-raff. Staff, including Guest Relations, is not only English-deficient , but rude as well. more

Hotel rooms were clean, and staff were friendly. Bad area of town. Unable to walk to the convention center. The shuttle to the convention center was always late if it showed up at all. Pool was nice, and restuarant was nice. more
