Stayed in the Belamar Wed10th September for 2 nights. Pretty disappointing overall...... We asked to check in when we arrived at 2pm...no room available ...staff were unhelpfull, they did not offer any advice on hotel facilities etc... Found out the pool was closed for our whole stay due to maintenance ! only found out from the guy cleaning the pool... more

Nice boutique hotel, big rooms, great beds, full bathroom (although you cant get into the shower without shutting the bathroom door) and nice big balconies. However although the staff is nice they consistently were unable to actually resolve any issues or concerns whether due to inability or lack of accountability just a sheer willingness to get you off their back... more

This hotel has got to start alerting guests to events taking place during their stay. For the second time, the courtyard, spa and pool area were closed to guests due to a wedding one night, a birthday party the next. The front desk pointed out that they were open until 3pm but most people want to go out all day... more

We had the pleasure of staying at The Belamar from June 19-24th. What a great experience we had. After reading most of the other reviews we had a pretty good idea of what this hotel was like. We were extremely happy with our choice. Firstly it's a small hotel in a quiet residential area. During our stay we never had... more

I stayed for 2 nights while on business travel. My overall good experience was tainted by three things. I could not retrieve a phone message, since the phone wasn't in proper working order. Maintenance could not fix the problem and I never was able to retrieve my message. I asked for a wake-up call at 5am and again at 5:10am.... more

The Belmar is minutes from LAX, nestled on the right hand side as you come from the LAX on Sepulveda. It's imbeded within a neighborhood , semi-across the street from the Manhattan Village Mall and about 15 minutes from the Manhattan Beach pier. Complimentary valet parking was available and there was no problem with theft. The decor of the lobby... more

Ireland,Family of four. We stayed here for 3 nights and what a disappointment it was. The room was small, you can hear the people walking in the room up stairs, (ceilings are wafer thin) the hotel do have music on in the hall as there was not enough noise plus you can hear the traffic because the hotel does not have... more

We stayed at the Belamar to celebrate our anniversary. First impression? As you're driving up to this pricey hotel, it looks just like an older hotel... non descript, beige, off the busy Pacific Coast Highway, and just average. You pull up to the front and a valet rushes you, hands you a ticket, and drives off- All without saying a... more

My husband and I went to Manhattan Beach to visit friends, and decided to stay at the Belamar after reading reviews that said it was close to LAX, and had a two mile bark path to the beach. We had time to do some exploring on our own. This is a small hotel tucked into a corner of a neighborhood,... more
