We traveled to the Korakia for a much needed getaway and wanted something different from the Viceroy- we found it at Korakia. The staff was incredibly friendly and we felt at home immediately. The pool was amazing, it was very quiet, no kids or families, young and older couples, younger singles. The courtyard is so beautiful, my boyfriend proposed to... more

I live in LA and my boyfriend and I booked this hotel looking for a relaxing Palm Springs getaway. I love bohemian, hippie chic type places and this hotel looked perfect. We loved the property, the Moroccan side is beautiful, and has tons of character. The atmosphere is laid back and funky. We stayed in the adobe room, which is... more

An absolute gem for those who want something different from the standardized, generic, and sterile chain hotel experience. This place is a real destination, you actually feel like you've travelled to a place very far away. Very relaxed and mellow with a personable and attentive staff, great design and accents. Palm Springs is not my favorite town by any means,... more

Loved the smart, friendly, helpful staff. Loved the food. Loved our fellow guests. And loved the hotel sponsered 4th of July pool party. We had a perfect 3 day weekend, and will definitely return ASAP. more

I've been reading the reviews of this place for awhile now - since we actually wanted to go a couple of years ago but weren't able to make it that time around. I've been sort of fascinated by the fact that they seem to be either strongly positive or strongly negative and wondered where we would fall in the mix.... more

Korakia is my ideal of a respite from hectic routine. I visited in late May with two friends. The soothing Moroccan/Mediterranian ambiance, the attention given to small luxuries and the gracious, accomodating staff make the experience perfect. One of the highlights of my stay was sitting out by the pool after dinner at a local restaurant and enjoying the balmy... more

The property is upscale from the utilitarian places we usually stay but, as it was our first trip to Palm Springs and the hotel was offering a great low-season rate, we decided to splurge a bit -- and we're glad we did! We were delayed in our arrival until some time after the lobby closed but the staff accommodated us... more

My boyfriend and I booked the Sahara Room at Korakia for a brief mid-week get away from LA upon a friend's suggestion. From the moment we stepped into Korakia, the staff was super friendly. We were hours early, and they quickly took our bags and invited us to enjoy the day around the pool until our ( cozy and comfy... more

For years I have been hearing wonderful things about this desert retreat. Friends adoringly described it as romantic, peaceful, soothing, in every and all words - a very special hideaway. To some extent, they are right. Having stayed at several of the other PS hotspots (The Parker, for one) I have some experience/comparisons in writing this review. Korakia is indeed... more
