We stayed in the Oasis Villa resort in mid July following the long drive down the I15 from Las Vegas. The resort consists of many villas in a gated community. It felt more like living with the locals rather than a holiday resort. The grounds are well maintained and there are about 7 swimming pools. The main pool at the... more

What a beautiful place! There were five people in a 2 BR villa and there was plenty of space. The Murphy bed was a nice option instead of a pull-out couch with that killer bar across your back. The enclosed deck out back w/ a BBQ worked very well for morning coffee, evening cocktails and dinner. I liked the two... more

This resort is incredibly pleasant. Property is large with lots of walkways through gardens and fountains. There are 8 pools and several hot tubs, all well cared for. Hot tubs are actually hot! The folks at the front desk are very obliging - cudos to Mark for his focus on great customer relations. Activities are available throughout the week and... more

Our friends belong to VI and invited us to stay a week with them at this resort. We had a wonderful time! It was not very crowded so it was very relaxing and quiet. The pools and spas were great, the grounds nicley kept up and the rooms were nice. Even needing some updating they were still nice and comfortable.... more

My wife and I and our four kids ages 1-10 decided to meet some family members for a long weekend halfway between our home in LA and theirs in Phoenix, which for us meant the Palm Springs area. With four mostly young children it is incredibly difficult to find a hotel setting which works well for us, so we chose... more

For 16 consecutive Christmases—1991 through 2006—The Oasis was our home away from home due to Mom's now 21-year affiliation with Vacation Internationale (VI). During those years, we'd check in on December 22, one car filled to near overflowing with gifts, some food, Yuletide decorations, supplemental cookware/bakeware, and of course our luggage. The bounty left just enough clearance to see out... more

After driving from Anaheim for the first part of vacation, this was a welcome stop off before Vegas. Friendly staff, clean units, plenty of pools to choose from. The units all have cycles to ride around the complex. The rooms were well kept and spacious, we had 2 bedroom unit. BBQ outside on patio which was a good alternative to... more

This place is so relaxing. You don't have the crowds like at the other Palm Springs hotels. There are numerous pools and one "main" pool. We like to hang out at the main pool so we can enjoy the ice cream sundaes and bbq hamburgers on the weekends. The staff is very friendly and the villas are extremely spacious. We... more

Found this resort through our timeshare network. There are several positives and only a few negatives. Positives- Location! It's right on Palm Canyon Drive, the main drag through Palm Springs and all of the surrounding communities (Palm Desert, Indio, etc.). There's a Target and Trader Joe's (and Von's, but it was kinda drab) within in 1 mile. Space- We got... more

As we drove into Palm Springs from the North West end of town we wondered why on earth we'd decided to spend 4 nights here en route to San Diego. However, after a bad first impression Palm Springs gradually improved as we neared the downtown area and our minds were completely set at ease when we pulled into the Oasis.... more
