The pros: Very nicely redone motel, each room different, with whimsical wall stickers and collages. The Presidio is a typical motel which has been given a stylish and quirky makeover. The bedrooms are great - nice big bed and lovely bedlinen, but real point of difference are the big stencils/stickers all over the walls. I just stayed at the Presidio with my girlfriend and we had a great time. The rooms are cute, clean, comfortable and quiet. They are well furnished with new beds, pillows, bathroom accessories and also have wireless internet. Overall I thought it was reasonably priced (150/night). We love the Presidio Motel. You may be able to find cheaper rates for a motel in Santa Barbara but the owners here are great! We stay here everytime we are in town and notice more improvements with each visit. I definitely think this place is worth the rates. more
