This hotel was very overpriced for what you get. My friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend and we ended up paying $220 a night. The bathroom was ultra small and dark. The shower kept changing from boiling hot to freezing cold. The window airconditioner didn't work well. The beds were really uncomfortable. The only plus was that... more

We were driving down to San Diego with our 1-year old daughter and wanted a stop on the way to break up the drive. The Days Inn was satisfactory for that purpose, but the entire time I was wishing I had spent more money and found another place to stay. If you're in Santa Barbara for a vacation, this is... more

My friend and I stayed 3 nights here at the end of a road trip around the SW USA, we found it brilliant value, clean and tidy and a great location. We paid around $140 each for 3 nights in a king size room which was so cheap considering its location a block from the beach. It is a good... more

I stayed here for 3 nights - after reading these reviews I was a little nervous. However, the desk staff was extremely pleasant and helpful - English was not the staff's first language- but isn't that what makes this country great? Get with the program , people . The continental breakfast was much better than other national chains that I... more

Good location. Only stayed 2 nights, but easy to get around, ample parking. Free breakfast had more variety than a typical Days Inn. Room was clean, comfortably slept 4 adults. A good place to stay if you plan to spend most of your visit out sightseeing. I would stay again. more

Arrived late in Santa Barbara. Very basic room. Bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom was the worst I've ever encountered for the price. It was small and dingy. The saving grace was that it was clean. Pretty what you would expect for a Days Inn motel. On the plus side, it served a complimentary continental breakfast (basic too)... more

You can do better, Overpriced, Dirty, Thieves. First, my daughters clothes were stolen from the room while we were at the beach. The man at the desk, could care less. I am not sure he even understood me. Next, Opened up the bedsheets to find hair on the sheets, YUK. Then, power went out for 4 hours. If you need... more

Worst Hotel-Motel ever! Worst personnel (hosts, maids, etc.): the most unfriendly, rude people work here. No one speaks a decent English, everyone is so rude and unfriendly, it’s hard even to say!!! Rooms are so small, when walked into our room; we've thought it's made for dwarfs! Appliances are so old and outdated, it makes you feel depressed to the... more

This is a reasonably conveniently located, smaller property offering value for money in what is an expensive town. True, its by a ball park and there is some noise from the road but we did not find that too bad. Its located pretty close to the beach and State Street is not too far away (the trolley bus stop is... more

Very noisey, loud and no thrills motel. We stayed a week and would never stay there again. Worst coffee and muffins we ever had. Room was small and un- clean with maid service late in the day. Be carful of reserving a room on-line they may not honor your confermation. There was no were to sit outside your room except... more
