The only possitive thing I can say about this motel is that the staff was friendly, and cares about custumers, but unfortunally the rooms are the worst aroud El Camino Real and high rates too! for a room with 2 queen beds $100.00 per night, with the price you can expect to get a very old looking room and dirty... more

I had to stay in the Vagabond Inn for a business trip for two weeks (due to a conference, this seemed to be the only one available at short notice). My room was supposed to come with a refrigerator, but none was provided. Instead refrigeration was achieved by having windows that fitted poorly, thus providing a great through draft. This... more

Thank you for the review. Unfortunately this guest had an unfavorable stay. The information about the refrigerator has alerted us to take an inventory, so this will not happen in the future. We strive for the best in clean, comfortable accommodations and outstanding service.

Please don't stay here. The hotel did not honor the reservation made over the Vagabond Inn website. Since it was late at night, we had to accept another room at a higher rate. This is a franchise owned hotel in very poor condition. There were limited electrical plugs and some were broken. Overall a poorly maintained hotel. The corporate guest... more

This customer had made multiple reservation over the internet and by calling the Cres system but to cancle the the reservation they canceled using the internet and the customer had cancelled the wrong reservation so the reservation the hotel had on file was for a King size room and not for a queen size which is what they wanted. I...

Our familly of 6 stayed here over the 4th of July holiday. The first room they put us in (3 Queen beds) was totally unacceptable. The room smelled and was dirty. I asked for their other 3 bed room (upstairs) and it was cleaner, but still not what I wanted to sleep in. We ended up taking 2 side by... more

I paid $65.65 because it was an emergency and we needed to place a family member near our home and it was not worth it. The rooms were very old and I was fearful of bedbugs. The pool was nice but not heated nor locked. The A/C was above the bathroom sink and must have been 15 years old and... more

I stayed in this motel the christmas day in 2005. The room was having a queen size bed which is okay. The worst part of the motel is that it advertise to have wireless internet but you cannot see access points. Asked for help and I was put on hold for 15 minutes and later the person just diconnected the... more

In town for a family get together, and got there too late to grab some space on the couch. Plus, we are 6 all together. Needed an affordable place, because we needed 2-3 rooms total for all of us. Wife hates places that are rude to the kids, even though they can be obnoxious at times, and we needed to... more

I stayed here in 9/2001 and based on the last review of 7/2005, NOTHING has changed!!! The floor turned my white socks BLACK in less than 2 hours! The carpet was filty and the room smelled musty. Unfortunatley, we had no choice because of a convention, all the area hotels were sold out and we were in the process of... more

This was the worse case of false advertisment. I booked 3 air conditioned rooms for 2 nights and when we checked in the air conditioners were not in working condition. We were told the problem would be fixed and were only offered one fan for 3 three rooms. The room temp got around 98 degrees and with 4 children under... more
